“CUBA: MY RETURN”

"Alina created her first solo piece “Words From a Cuban Father” in 2014. She used dance, music, physicality and her father's life advice through the decades. Starting in Cuba at the age of 4, her Papi's words guide her through the revolution, Miami, circus, Hollywood, motherhood, divorce, and destiny. The piece was performed throughout the United States, as well as internationally.

“Cuba: My Return” is part 2. In 2015, after 54 years, Alina finally returned to Holguin, her birthplace. Taking the audience through her journey as she re-connects with her motherland and all the surprises.
